― Why did you decide to join Fujisaki?

The university's graduation thesis, the theme of the history of the shopping district in Sendai. At that time, I was interested in the Ichibancho shopping street, especially Fujisaki. More than 200 years have passed since its founding as a local department store, and joined Fujisaki, which had developed with the shopping district in the past and now, and I wanted to contribute to the prosperity of the local shopping district in Sendai. In addition, I wanted to be involved in a profession that interacts with people, there were various departments, and I wanted to have an environment where I could always try new things.

― Please tell me about your current job content and rewarding.

Currently, as a manager of a regional store called Vie Fujisaki Nagamachi store on the first floor of Lara Garden in Nagamachi, we are engaged in customer management, employee management, product planning for sales floors, development plans, event space planning, etc.

Although it is a small store, I feel responsible for leaving one store. However, it is worthwhile, and we are working to nurture each and every employee and create a store that can satisfy our customers. We plan an event every week, but when we negotiate a store on our own and lead to success, we have a very sense of accomplishment.

― What do you want to challenge in the future?

The environment surrounding the department store is changing rapidly, and looking back on the days when I joined the company, I feel that the situation has changed considerably compared to that time. In recent years, companies are also required to work on SDGs, but I would like to always aim for a new Fujisaki while always responding to social changes.

In addition, since it is a department store that has developed with the local community, I hope that new initiatives can be made in various ways, including local industries, schools, and administration, as well as local contributions.

― How do you spend your time off?

On holidays, I often play in parks with children who are 5 years old. I'm working hard on jumping rope now. I'm going to begin practicing bicycles this time.
