PLANET OF WATER

The Earth is a shining water planet that is blue and beautiful like an oasis in the universe.
Water travels all over the earth while changing its shape, and continues to make use of various creatures and the earth itself.
This exhibition is a photo exhibition by Junji Takasago, a photographer who travels around the world and shoots the earth, where you can see the glow of the water itself and the real faces of the creatures living there.

Mr. Junji Takasago

The latest book, "Listening to the Voice of the Planet" (Clevis)

A natural photographer.
Born in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture in 1962.
He visits countries all over the world from tropical to polar regions, and conducts photography activities on the theme of the connection between nature and the relationship between people and nature, using the earth itself as a field, such as underwater, creatures, rainbows, landscapes, starry sky, etc. In April 2024, "Listen to the voice of this planet" was announced.
"PLANET OF WATER" (National Geographic), "night rainbow", "LIGHT on LIFE", "Free", "Beyond the Rainbow at Night" (Shogakukan), "Dear Earth", "Aloha" (Pie International), "Light and Rainbow and Myths" (Mountain and Gorge Company).
In May 2024, he held a photo exhibition "Kyoka Suigetsu" at the Japan Cultural Center in Paris. In 2008, he was in charge of the Pacific Islands, a photo exhibition commemorating the Pacific Islands hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at Konica Minolta Plaza.
In addition to TBS's Passion Continent and NHK's SWITCH Interview, he continues to convey a wide range of topics such as the importance of nature, the relationship between nature and human beings, and the role of human beings on the earth. Received the highest award in the category of "Wildlife photographer of the year 2022", "Natural Artist" which is said to be the world's highest peak in natural photography. She is a director of the Oceanic Wildlife Society (OWS).
